Rants, Raves, and general musings. Occasional tibits of poetry and short stories that make their way out of my head.

And Just a little bit faster than I would like...
to be reaching the end. darn the timers. darn the wake-up calls. but, such is life.
it seemed odd at the time when my mom and I had the conversation about it. she hated the fact that she had a part in contributing to passing the genes down. the family history was there. the chances were slim that I would be passed up.
And now, after a month long roller coaster. It's definite. The diabetes has finally kicked in. The symptoms were masked because of the abscess. once that cleared up and the meds were stopped, it was pretty obvious that something was a tad amiss.
So, the body is in flux. yay@understatements! follow-up recommends a strict regimen to get me back to a nice new homeostatic state. I don't foresee the diet being to hard to do. this last month has been one bad hungry/not hungry mishmash. the kiddos keep me walking...just need to wake up a bit earlier to lengthen the AM walk. must keep away from the snooze button....and late night movies/vid games!
the downside, hahaha, is that i'm beginning not to like the taste of my own blood. oy!
and I have to keep an optimistic eye...cuz, the alternative is not so much fun....
*you always wanted to believe, just ask and you'll receive, you already know...yes, you already know how this will end...*
